What vegetable best describes your personality and why? 
Thai Basil. It looks like basil, but then it surprises you. Also, I can't cook without herbs.

Share a favorite memory or experience with fruits + veggies:
I grew up in Thailand where produce is often sold off the back of a small farmer's truck who picked it that morning. I remember hearing the loudspeaker as the truck slowly drove down the street, and running down with some cash my mom gave me to pick up some bitter melon or watercress she couldn't find at the market. A truck bed full of random, super fresh, fragrant produce is still my favorite way to veggie shop.

Anything you want people to know about?
The USDA estimates that 30-40% of food in the US is wasted, mostly at the consumer level. A little meal prep and planning goes a long way. And the freezer.
