Our Values

We’re proud to be totally obsessed with vegetables

Fresh food for everyone

OUR MISSION: to build a modern-day farming company focused on making fresh food accessible to all.

It’s our founding belief that everyone should have access to fresh, healthy vegetables. We’re constantly working on meeting this goal across our business, from how much our food costs to where it’s sold and donated.

Our continued commitment to food banks and community partners has allowed us to donate more than 350,000 pounds of produce since the start of the pandemic, and we’re not slowing down. We’re working with organizations like City Harvest and Society of St. Andrews to give back to our community.

How We Farm

  1. The Handshake

Our farming model is different... on purpose. The majority of vegetables From our Farms start with a commitment to minimize risk for our farming partners by fronting the capital and supplying the seedlings. We'll never ask for a dime back if we are unable to sell harvested veggies. We’re not perfect yet, but we’re always working to make farming our vegetables as equitable as possible.

2. Non-GMO = Our Non-Negotiable

We only select and plant 100% non-GMO, specialty seeds.

3. Sun + Soil + Water = Magic

Because why should we mess with the good stuff?

4. Transparent Supply Chain

Once our vegetables are harvested off the field, our Operations gurus pack and distribute across the country without any brokers or opaque middlemen to ensure the freshest, highest quality produce makes its way to your plate.

5. Make Fresh Vegetables Accessible

We’re always expanding our map of grocery retailers (IRL and online), which allows us to make fresh vegetables affordable, and most of all, accessible to everyone.

6. Donate The Rest

Farming vegetables is a pretty wild thing to do. Whenever we have surplus or seconds, we team up with food banks and community fridges to make sure no piece of our produce goes unused.
