What vegetable best describes your personality and why? 
It might not be a vegetable, but I'm going to have to say the persimmon. It feels like a real vegetable-lover's fruit. The color is unique and beautiful, and an incredible ingredient to look forward to during the winter.

Share a favorite memory or experience with fruits + veggies:
Eating oranges and grapefruits at my dad's citrus grove for the first time. As a kid, it was like total smell-o-vision to be among thousands of acres of floral, citrus scent. Sensory overload in the best way.

Anything you want people to know about?
Widespread access to vegetables and fresh food is notoriously challenging, and one of our founding reasons for starting Ark Foods. Food banks, community pantries, and free fridges are the backbone of feeding people across this country. Because of that, we're humbled to donate free produce every year, and always encourage those in a position of privilege to organize and donate when they can.
