Sesame Shishitos & Tamari Dip

A simple Shishito stir fry with Asian-inspired flavors and a quick dip make for a great side or appetizer.

12 oz of Shishito Peppers

Toasted Sesame Seeds

Toasted Sesame Oil

Tamari

3 scallions

Salt

Prep + Cook

1. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

2. Add washed shishito peppers and and cook until peppers begin to blister (5-8 minutes).

3. Meanwhile, mix 1/4 cup tamari, 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil, 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame seeds and the 3 scallions (sliced with whites and greens) in a sauce dish.

4. Remove Shishitos onto a serving dish and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and salt. Serve with sauce.
